Intuitive Tarot Readings
Local (in-person) Readings
To get the best guidance from the Tarot, your reason or purpose for a reading should be clear (to you) and your questions open-ended — with ‘why’, ‘what’ or ‘how’. This gives the cards the greatest capacity for delivering the necessary clarity, guidance or inspiration.
With your question in mind, you and I will shuffle the Tarot deck. In a local, in-person reading (5068) the client cuts and divides the whole deck into 3 separate piles using their lefthand of intuition. This way of cutting the deck is known as 'thricing the cards' and is a simple little ritual that gives me your permission, to read for you. The client gathers three piles back into a single stack, and hands the whole deck back to me. This little ritual or mediation gives me your permission to read for you. I use this technique to cleanse and re-energise the Tarot deck, for every client reading, because it feels right for me.
I fan the whole deck. The client is asked to choose and draw a card that feels right for each of their questions. We read the cards as a reply, responses or answer, for each question asked for the card draw. Each card/question can be further expanded upon by simply drawing further cards, and until the client is satisfied that the issue has been fully explored.
After each reading, I clear the Tarot deck of any lingering energies, re-wrap it in a black silk scarf, and place it in a sealed box in readiness for the next reading.
Phone Tarot Readings
While a little different from local Tarot readings phone Tarot readings are an easy, comfortable way for any person to receive guidance, clarity and insight into their questions or circumstances. Tarot phone readings can also answer boundless questions on your relationships with family, friends and colleagues; about work, vocation and business matters; and any subject affecting lifestyle, leisure, home, moving or travel.
At times, life can get a bit complicated, chaotic, and confusing. To clearly focus and self-direct your Tarot phone reading it is more helpful, and therefore satisfying, to give thought to the question/s you have about a particular issue, prior to your reading. When booking a 20-minute reading, for example, a simple and well thought-out problem and/or question ensures you make the most of our available reading time.
Phone-readings are generally shorter than those of local, in-person readings. This usually means smaller spreads with greater focus. However, the size of the spread or length of a reading really doesn't affect the quality or value of a reading. A one or 2-card reading in response to a clear question on any matter, is as revealing and helpful as a full Celtic Cross! Before we commence your reading, I will run you through your best options.
Just as with a local, in-person reading, I ask the client to think on their issues and focus on the questions they wish the Tarot to answer. For a phone-reading, I shuffle and thrice the deck on the client's behalf, and spread the deck as a large continuous fan. The client is asked to think on their matter and ask one a question at a time. With each client question (spoken or silent) I move my hand across the fanned deck of cards and until the client tells me I have reached the card that they feel represents the answer; and the card is drawn. We then do the same for the next question asked. I have found that this method, for the phone readings I give, is surprising accurate.
A Tarot phone reading is just like have a regular phone conversation but with the insights of a third-party – Tarot! A fruitful phone-reading relies on regular two-way communication and feedback. Throughout the phone-reading, I continually check your understanding, of the meaning I am seeing and drawing from your cards to see if it ‘makes sense’ to the question you have asked. While I will likely be doing much of the talking, a connection created with frequent client comment is necessary to keep our reading meaningful to you. The answer to your question achieves greater depth, sharper focus, and better value. Feedback keeps us stay connected; and gives greater energy and accuracy to your reading.
